1. Avocado toast
There is no shortage of ways to make this simple breakfast recipe your own, but the basic iteration includes whole grain toast, drizzled with olive oil and topped with avocado slices or smashed avocado (about ½ avocado per toast). Sprinkle on salt and lemon juice as desired. This will give you a filling dose of healthy carbs and fiber, plus healthy fats to get your brain going.
Add a cooked egg on top for protein and flavor, and throw in some peppery arugula for extra kick and a daily serving of greens.
