You probably eat avocados for their healthy fats, fiber, and vitamin-rich goodness. Well, your skin loves avocado for the very same reasons! Avocado oil contains a ton of Vitamin E, which helps to even skin tone and moisturize dry, flaky, or itchy skin.
A little bit goes a long way with this stuff, so if you’re using it for a topical skin treatment, start out with just a small amount on your hand, rub it in, and only add more if your skin immediately soaks it up (which it might). Avocado oil is also fantastic for creating healthier hair roots and soothing a damaged or dry scalp, so you can apply it to the base of your hair after showering. You don’t have to rinse it out, but you may want to use a fine-tooth comb to make sure it’s evenly distributed to your ends.
