1. Maintain a good sleep schedule
It can be tempting to cut back on sleep in order to work or study, but the long-term risks are not worth the benefits. In particular, studies clearly demonstrate that those who frequently get less than eight hours of sleep a night are more likely to suffer heart attacks, have high blood pressure and receive a heart disease diagnosis at a younger age. Try to go to sleep at the same time each evening, and spend at least half an hour without the bright glow of distracting technologies before you go to bed.
