1. Cooling drinks
Staying well hydrated is very important when you have a cold. Dehydration can make you feel much worse, contributing to headaches and potentially causing shaking or dizziness. Plus, if you have a fever then you’ll lose hydration quickly. Water is a great choice, but not everyone enjoys drinking plain water. Fruit juice and squash are also effective, as are sports drinks with extra energy-giving ingredients.
